Introduction

PhoneRepairPOS ("we", "our", "us") is an iPad application for managing phone repair jobs. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you process through our app. This policy explains what data is involved, how it's stored, and your rights.

What data the app handles

PhoneRepairPOS is a tool for your business. The data you enter — customer names, phone numbers, device details, repair notes, and payment records — is your business data, not ours. We do not access, read, or sell this data.

The app may handle the following types of information:

• Customer names and contact details (as entered by you)
• Device information and repair descriptions
• Pricing, cost estimates, and payment records
• Internal notes added to repair tickets

How data is stored

All data is stored locally on your iPad using Apple's Core Data framework. If you enable cloud sync, your data is also stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service.

• Local storage: Data is stored on-device and is only accessible to the PhoneRepairPOS app. If you delete the app, this data is removed.
• iCloud sync: If enabled, data syncs across your devices via your personal iCloud account. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Data we collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your business data on our servers. We do not have a backend server or database that receives your information.

We may receive anonymised, aggregated analytics from Apple if you have opted in to share app analytics with developers via your device settings. This may include crash reports and basic usage statistics (e.g. how often the app is opened). This data cannot identify you or your customers.

Third-party services

PhoneRepairPOS does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third-party service involved is Apple's CloudKit for optional iCloud sync, which operates under Apple's privacy terms.

Data sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any data with third parties. Full stop.

Your rights

Because your data is stored locally on your device and/or in your personal iCloud account, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

• View, edit, or delete any data within the app
• Delete all data by removing the app from your device
• Manage iCloud data via your device's Settings > Apple ID > iCloud

If you are based in the UK or EU, you have additional rights under UK GDPR / EU GDPR including the right to access, rectification, erasure, and data portability. Since we do not hold your data on our servers, these rights are exercised directly through your device and iCloud account.

Children's privacy

PhoneRepairPOS is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
